Overdrive Auto Works has been fixing cars honestly in Guelph since 2009. Here's how a one-bay garage became the shop three generations of the same families still bring their cars to.
How we got here
Seventeen years, four milestones
One bay, one lift, one mission
Priya Anand opens Overdrive out of a single-bay garage on Speedvale Ave, promising every customer a written explanation before any work starts - a promise that's never been broken since.
Second lift, first apprentice
Demand outgrows the single bay. A second lift goes in, and Malik Osei joins as the shop's first apprentice technician, training directly under Priya.
European specialty program launches
Arjun Mehta joins with factory-level BMW and Audi diagnostic training, and Overdrive becomes one of the few independent shops in Guelph that can service German imports at dealer-level accuracy.
Four bays, one philosophy
Now running four lifts and a team of six, Overdrive still opens every job with the same written, photographed estimate Priya started with in 2009.
